Backing Paper Builder
Although part of Free Craft Downloads the Backing Paper Builder definately deserves a seperate review. The Builder is completely online so there is nothing to download (apart from your finished paper) and nothing to install.It lets you make your own personalised backing papers by adding the text you input to a range of template backgrounds or to a solid colour background. As with most programmes you get to choose you text size, font and font colour. There is also a choice of 3 paper sizes and orientation. As well as normal fonts there are also a couple of sets of "Wing Dings" available which together give a large range of symbols which can be used instead of letters.
Ease of Use
This service is remarkably easy to use. Just put in your text, make half a dozen choices from some pre-defined options and click build. The result can either be printed of saved to your computer. Even the colour and template choices are done through little popup windows.

Unlike other images on the Free Craft Downloads site one produced with this system are yours to do what you want with. You can even give then away online if you wish or put them on a CD. There are no restrictions and even the fonts used on the system are Public Domain ones so there is no issue there.
