Card Making Blogs

This isn't so much a review of a particular site (although I shall use one as an example) but of a style of site, namely a blog. Blogs are very popular amoungst card makers and other crafters. Many Crafters aren't computer experts and don't know how to code a website. A Blog however, has a very simple control panel which enables just about anyone to upload images and descriptions.

This is a prime example of a good card making blog. Obviously everyone's idea of what makes a good blog are different but here are some reasons why we like this particular blog:

• Plenty of Images
• Set by Step projects
• Links to free papers used
• Mostly card projects but a few other projects which use the same skills and papers.
• A wide range of cards suitable for different people and using different techniques.

Starting Your Own Blog

Starting your own blog couldn't be simpler and, just as important, is free. Just tootle over to http://www.blogger.com and sign up. The first thing your blog will need is a name so have a think about this before you go and sign up. It is almost impossible to make a mistake with Blogger, there is nothing you can do which can't be undone so don't worry you aren't going to cause any irreversible harm to either your computer or the internet!
